DigiFT, a digital asset exchange licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), has launched tokenized access to interests in the Fidelity Investments U.S. Treasury Money Market Fund for institutional and accredited investors.

According to the DigiFT announcement, investors must meet the platform's eligibility requirements. The company did not name the blockchain, the minimum investment, or the custodian, administrator and transfer agent. DigiFT holds Capital Markets Services and Recognised Market Operator licences from MAS and reports more than $435 million in subscriptions settled across 42 earlier token issuances.

Cynthia Lo Bessette, head of digital asset management at Fidelity Investments, said tokenization has the potential to expand access to investment products while enabling new forms of liquidity.
