Figure Technology Solutions said its small-business financing unit funded more than $50 million of loans in September and $135 million in the third quarter, using blockchain-based infrastructure and a tokenized lien registry.
The Nasdaq-listed company, which describes itself as a blockchain-native capital marketplace, put annualized volume above $500 million in its Oct. 22 release. That is a run-rate figure, and all volumes are company-reported. The loans are home equity lines of credit taken for business purposes, not SBA, receivables or supply-chain finance.
Figure said its small-business network includes more than 150 brokers, lenders and fintech partners, and that Newity recently joined and plans to use Figure Connect to reach capital markets.
