OKX has announced strategic investments from Circle, Qube Research & Technologies (QRT), Ripple and Standard Chartered's SC Ventures at a $25 billion pre-money valuation. The company did not disclose how much was raised.

CoinDesk reported that the round extends the strategic investment Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, made in OKX in March 2026, and that both rounds carry the same valuation. The $25 billion figure is a valuation, not the amount invested.

OKX said it will use the capital for growth and for tokenizing real-world assets as it builds a broader financial technology platform. Chief executive Star Xu said the company wants to combine crypto technology with global institutional standards. The announcement follows the notification OKX and ICE's joint venture filed with the SEC for a tokenized stock trading venue covering 63 US companies.
