Samsung Wallet and Samsung Pay will support USDC stablecoin payments on Solana, giving users on 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices a way to send cross-border payments, the Solana Foundation announced on Oct. 7.
According to the Solana Foundation's press release, the feature is built into the wallet with integrated fiat on- and off-ramps to local currency. U.S. users can begin sending USDC payments in the last week of October, with additional markets to follow subject to local regulation. The release includes a quote from a Samsung executive.
Fees and transaction limits were not disclosed. The Foundation's figures on Solana stablecoin activity, including more than $5.25 trillion in volume processed in 2026, are self-reported.
