Zaria Systems has raised a $5.2 million seed round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners to build collateral and credit monitoring software for structured finance.

The company serves digital-asset-backed lenders, providing loan servicing, backup servicing, collateral management and agency services. It lists Ledn, Maple, Galaxy, Kraken and Figure as platform partners, according to an Oct. 14 press release. The release names no other investors.

Zaria has applied to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for a national trust bank charter, which, if approved, would place its services under one federally regulated trustee. The funding will support growth, team expansion and the charter application.

Aaron Frank, a partner at Lightspeed, said the firm was "proud to have been able to back them from the earliest days."
